The Love Song of Alfred J Hitchcock

The Love Song of Alfred J Hitchcock
The Love Song of Alfred J Hitchcock

presented by New Perspectives Theatre Company

This new play presented by popular regional theatre company New Perspectives, takes a unique look at the way the great filmmaker Alfred Hitchcock developed the ideas for his most famous films, including Marnie, Vertigo and Strangers on a Train.

From his director's chair, the 60 year old Hitchcock begins to imagine some of the defining films of our time.  The production explores the director's childhood memories of his mother and the strict Jesuit priests who schooled him, as well as his later life including conversations with screen writers, feelings of guilt towards his faithful wife and his earliest feelings of love.  The result is a haunting character study, presented with all the tension and mystery of Hitchcock's greatest films.
